Torrance County Sheriff’s Office issued the following announcement on April 1.

April is finally here and we couldn’t be more excited about the warmer weather that comes with the Spring season.
With the dry weather, the warmer temperatures, and the wind, please pay attention to the Fire Department updates on burning. If you have questions about any burn restrictions, please reach out to the Fire Department or call the Torrance County Dispatch Center at 505-384-2705.
Also as the temperatures rise, please be on the look out for snakes, we have already seen a couple out, this week.
Have a great and safe weekend.
