From February 17,  2023 post.

Can you help them find their way home?  Are these your pups? PLEASE READ entire text.  SHELTER IS FULL

Strays brought in today.  Proof of ownership required to reclaim at the shelter.  Animals from homes in Peralta, Bosque Farms, Los Lunas Village, Belen and Rio Communities require release forms from Animal Control or City Hall in those communities BEFORE coming to the shelter.

Any information, any questions?  You need to contact the shelter directly by phone or in person please.

These animals are NOT available for adoption UNTIL the 72 hour business day stray hold has been met to give their owners a chance to reclaim.  If not reclaimed, the shelter is then legally obligated to allow each to be adopted.  In each of these cases, that would be sometime on Tuesday, February 21st.

Please share.    Any derogatory comments will be deleted.  We are here for the pups.  Moderators appreciate not having to read negative, unnecessary/unhelpful/unkind comments.
