From January 14, 2023 post.

**UPDATE 10:30PM**

The Fire Department Command has been dissolved.   NM Gas will remain in the area and will monitor reports of odor.

The shelter site has been closed.

Any further inquiry should be directed to NM Gas.

**INCIDENT UPDATE**

NM Gas has multiple crews that are still assessing the area, and are bringing out additional equipment.

There are no evacuations ordered, and we will be closing an open evacuation site at 10:30 pm.  The site was originally opened because people were self evacuating due to the odor.

If you are having a medical complaint, we ask you to call for help, and we will send a unit out.

We have a command post that includes representatives from Fire, Law Enforcement and NM Gas.

We are being told that the odor is dissipating, but is still present in some areas.
