From March 10, 2023 post.
The Valencia County Animal Shelter in Los Lunas NM is COMPLETELY FULL!! Medium and large size dogs are most at risk for euthanasia. Litters of pups aren’t excluded from this and need out asap as well.
This puppy is just one of many looking for their forever home.
86 Dogs and cats came in within 2 days!!
*Tuesday intakes were 23 owner surrenders and 14 strays.
*Wednesday Intakes were 33 owner surrenders and 16 strays.
There is no euthanasia list at the moment but one will most likely be made by the end of Friday (today) if some don’t get out by early afternoon.
Anyone on this page that decides to verbally attack staff or volunteers will be removed without warning. We simply don’t have time for it. We are on here asking for help to save the animals so they do not have to be euthanized.
A few of the ones in our posts may only be available to a 501c3 rescue for one reason or another. Typically due to health issues, under six weeks old, pregnant dogs and ones with newborn puppies.
$65 if not spayed or neutered $15 if they are already spayed or neutered
We are not answering questions on this post. If you can help us to save one of them, COME IN!l!
