On April 26, 2022 the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO) Community Response Impact Team (CRIT), conducted a narcotics search warrant in the El Cerro Mission District. CRIT received numerous complaints in reference to drug activity from concerned citizens in the area.
Deputies recovered distribution quantities of methamphetamine inside the residence. Deputies seized drug trafficking evidence, such as a large quantity of empty baggies, scales, a quantity of US currency, ammunition, and other drug paraphernalia. The primary target of this investigation had felony convictions for controlled substances. In addition to the drug evidence a stolen vehicle was located and recovered from the property.
VCSO arrested the primary target for trafficking methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
