Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle in the Peralta area. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Albuquerque. Due to citizen tips, officers located 2 male subjects that were seen leaving the vehicle with a garden cart covered by a tarp. The 2 males were charged with receiving/transferring a stolen motor vehicle, possession of stolen property and possession of narcotics.
There were multiple items in the cart that we suspect may have been stolen. Contact our Evidence Technician to verify any of the items in our custody.
