It’s that time of year again. The Sgt. Dominique Smith Junior Deputy Program will be starting in July. Please find below the flyer with all the information on how to apply and who to contact with any questions.
This is such a great program, we started 12 years ago in memory of Sgt. Dominique Smith. We are excited to get to teach your kids about law enforcement and much more. This is a free program for the kids in our communities. Kids do not have to reside in Torrance County to attend.
Application deadline for the Sr. Class is July 1, 2022 by 5:00pm.
Application deadline for the New Class is July 8, 2022 by 5:00pm.
Once applications are received, parents will receive an email confirming attendance and a copy of the schedule will be provided.
Parents, please remember to pack a lunch everyday except for Friday, as we will provide lunch that day. Also, please remember, there will be at least 2 days during the week long program that your child(ren) may get wet.
We look forward to seeing all the returning Junior Deputies during the Sr. Class and can’t wait to meet all the New Junior Deputies.
