Ready Status to Assist
0Comments

Thank you for all of your efforts in assisting the evacuees of San Miguel and Mora counties. At this time, Guadalupe County and the City of Santa Rosa are currently in a ready status to assist. We would like the evacuees and public to know, the Santa Rosa State Park is offering RV and camping spaces for no charge to evacuees. Super 8 Motel has blocked off a set of rooms at a discounted rate. We are looking for additional hotels willing to assist evacuees with discounted rates. Please contact Amy Campos at City Hall 575-472-3404 if hotels want to offer any special rates. A primary shelter will be established at the Blue Hole Convention Center 1085 Blue Hole Rd. Any donations of water, coffee, Gatorade, Styrofoam cups, creamer, sugar, etc. can be dropped off at City Hall. We will not be excepting any food donations at this time. Mayor Kotiar’s contact information for any questions is (505) 507-1119.
