Another one for the books! We appreciate all this hard work, keep in mind these cases take a lot of time and paperwork. The men and women who do these jobs are dedicated to taking drugs, and guns out of the wrong hands.
All of these people still have a court process and unless convicted in court they have due process. The bail reform usually will not keep these individuals behind bars for long, the law is written and therefore we have no control of their release.
On May 5, 2022 the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO) Community Response Impact Team (CRIT), conducted a narcotics search warrant in the Tome District against Raquel JARAMILLO and Eric WARD.
Deputies recovered distribution quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl. Deputies seized 3 firearms, ammunition and magazines for various calibers of guns, scales, pipes, and other drug paraphernalia. A stolen vehicle was located on the property and the owner was notified of the vehicle being recovered.
Children on scene were located in the same room as all the contraband mentioned above. The Children Youth and Families Department was contacted. The children were placed into CYFD custody for the living conditions the children were forced to live in.
VCSO arrested Raquel JARAMILLO for trafficking methamphetamine and fentanyl, receiving or transferring stolen vehicles, and charged with two counts of felon in possession of a firearm. Eric WARD was arrested for trafficking methamphetamine and fentanyl.
