A letter from the Belen Consolidated Schools district today reports there is an underground gas leak at the Belen High School campus, but an inspection from New Mexico Gas Company has determined it is not a safety issue.
To allow for repairs, BHS students will be going to remote learning for at least Friday, Nov. 4.
