From February 15,  2023 post.

Help please!  This pup was picked up as a stray on 2/7/23 and no one has stepped forward to claim him.  He came in wearing the vest you see in this photo and although the staff has tried, the owner has not been located.  Clearly he belongs to someone.  Possible he is from somewhere outside of Valencia County.  Please share, but also note, if claiming as owned, proof of ownership will need to be provided.  Under Valencia County Animal Code, he is legally available for adoption as the 72 hour business stray hold was met last Friday.

If you have any knowledge of where he rightfully belongs, please contact the shelter directly, they will do their best to get him back to his family, but are also obligated to allow adoption.  Bottom line, a loving home is where he needs to be.
