On April 21, 2022, the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO) Community Response Impact Team (CRIT), conducted a narcotics search warrant in the Los Chavez District. CRIT received numerous complaints in reference to drug activity from concerned citizens in the area.
Deputies recovered distribution quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine inside the residence. Deputies seized multiple baggies, scales, a quantity of US currency, and other drug paraphernalia. The primary target of this investigation had felony convictions for trafficking controlled substances and possession of controlled substance.
VCSO arrested the primary target Stacy Cruz  for trafficking fentanyl, trafficking methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
An additional individual Jonathan Felts was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
These individuals are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.
