From March 16, 2023 post.

The Valencia County Animal Shelter in Los Lunas NM is COMPLETELY FULL!!!  Again!!

There have been a couple euthanasia lists made since yesterday just to open kennels for all the ones people are surrendering and strays coming in.

If you are missing a dog or cat, go in immediately to see if they are there. Tomorrow may be too late.

Shelter is open Tuesday – Saturday 9-5

Anyone on this page that decides to verbally attack staff or volunteers will be removed without warning. We simply don’t have time for it. We don’t like it anymore than you do and we are on here asking for help to save the animals so more do not have to be euthanized.

ADOPTIONS: $65 if not spayed or neutered $15 if they are already spayed or neutered

We will not be answering questions on this post. If you can help us to save one of them, COME IN!!
