Good job to our CRIT and VCSO Deputies who assisted in this search warrant.
On June 7, 2022, the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO) Community Response Impact Team (CRIT), conducted a narcotics search warrant in the Meadowlake District.
Deputies recovered distribution quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl. Deputies seized 2 firearms, US currency, ammunition, scales, pipes, drug paraphernalia, and recovered two stolen vehicles. One of the firearms was a modified sawed off shotgun that was located within arm’s reach of two of the drug traffickers.
A child was located on scene in the same room as the contraband mentioned above. The Children Youth and Families Department was contacted. The children were placed into CYFD custody for the living conditions the children were forced to live in.
In total VCSO arrested three individuals from the residence. The first individual was arrested for trafficking fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia. The second individual was arrested for trafficking fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, felon in possession of firearm, and for probation violation.
